Your computer club had a very successful meeting on Tuesday November 13 with 72 members in attendance.
The success was not in the numbers attending, but in the entertaining and informative talk by Bob
Montgomery. Some of the subjects he discussed were E-mail connections (DSL, AOL, and Cable), hibernation,
mouse settings, security, and scheduled tasks. After his presentation, Bob stayed to answer some individual
questions. The following comments are representative of most attendees opinion of the meeting..

  • Susan Robinson: "Very interesting - really learned something - speaker was enjoyable."
  • Charles Ross: "Excellent- very good."
  • Milton Weiss: "Excellent and the cookies are delicious."
  • Dave Leesem: "Very good - learned a few things - I’m a real beginner."
  • Art Director: "Very informative - presented at a level of understanding."
  • Murray Howard: "Meeting was very good for learning things I didn’t know."

Your computer board intends to continue with meetings of this caliber throughout the year. If you missed this
meeting, come to the next meeting, and you will receive a copy of the "Tips and Tricks" handout that was
distributed by Bob Montgomery at this meeting.
